In Hot Pursuit
Today I spent the majority of my day doing some PR work for a new client. It was kind of a late request so I had to amp up the hustle today to get it done. I missed a fashion show and a gala dinner that I was looking forward to attending. In exchange I created a beautiful event notice on MailChimp and made my deadline. And you know what? That was satisfying enough.
I blogged this week about making sacrifices and how they are so worth it when you keep your end goals in line. Last year I spent to much time talking about what I wanted to do, to create and spent zero time actually doing any of it. I was too busy traveling, shopping, partying, and socializing to get work done. So now I am totally doing the opposite now, becoming a work hermit of sorts. It takes sacrifice to pursue dreams. I am working one day at a time toward the bigger picture, even if it results in less Facebook pictures.
